Philanthropy
We, at Theta Omicron raise money for our national fraternity’s self-owned Philanthropy. The Ability Experience is the national Philanthropy of Pi Kappa Phi, a non-profit organization established in 1977 to foster lifelong service in fraternity members by creating shared experiences with people with disabilities, raising awareness, and building inclusive communities. We proudly support and participate in the Ability Experience.
Our chapter helps raise money and participate in the ability experience in many different ways. Our philanthropy week “War of the Roses” has become known campus wide and has raised thousands of dollars. It also gets other campus organizations involved. Our brothers also participate in Ability Camp each semester where we work to better facilities for the disabled. Our work does not end at these events.

Keeping Up With The Stallions
Summer Break
Our brothers had a great summer break. Brothers traveled far and wide and worked very hard at their summer internships. It was a great summer break being home with family and having time away from academics.
New House
Pi Kappa Phi is moving into a new house on 735 West Street. It was formerly filled by another fraternity, but now it is being remodeled and moved into by our brothers. Brothers are excited to have this new space for events and activities
Move-Ins
Recently Freshman had the opportunity to move into their new dorm rooms. Many of our brothers volunteered and helped take away some of the stress during this new experience for incoming students. We also have many brothers mentoring new students in the NevadaFit program.
Fall Rush
Although we had fun during our break, we are ready to head back to school and get back to work. We are looking forward to Fall Rush and a successful new class with all of the events we have planned. Stay tuned for more!
